Maybe its because im from vermont but I think timber frames are the coolest and this is the ideal kitchen / without the black island, I would pick a different warmer color or maybe a bright color to make a nice accent color in the room.

This is a beautiful kitchen with great natural light and high ceilings but what I like best are the three seats at the island for the kids to help mom cook, and it makes the kitchen become more of a social place to sit besides the living room.
